So here goes...

I came into this world at around 2:17am on a Wednesday some 32 years ago. Since that time, I've discovered a huge passion for cinema (I consider them an essential food group, really), developed a fascination for profound discussion, and became driven in all my goals, especially as an artist and a filmmaker... I live to create something everyday. I inherited a sense of humor that ranges from silly, to sarcastic, to sly depending on the situation and I've been described by others as outgoing, outspoken, loyal, affectionate, honest, and a romantic at heart. I carry a varied taste in music (really into the lesser known artists in the Canadian music scene at the moment) and I value my family like they're my friends and my friends like they're my family.

I dream of owning a cottage someday. I absolutely love the kind of air only cottage country can offer and kicking back on a dock with a cold beverage to the sounds of the lake and nature.

I'd also like to eventually own a dog. I think I'll name it Fletcher if it's a boy or Sasha if it's a girl. I don't know why I've decided on these names... I just like the ring of them.

I can't start my day without a morning coffee, I own DVDs that have never been opened, and I can go to work on my latest screenplay and write until my hand falls off if I get inspired. I'm realistic yet whimsical, serious yet goofy, and I sometimes leave certain projects to the last minute only because I seem to work better under pressure.

I appreciate those who see the beauty in all the things this world has to offer, whether big or small. I get along best with those who can get as much out of a trip around the world as they do having a snowball fight in their own backyard. It doesn't so much matter what you do as it does who you are doing it with. :-)

Other little facts about me?:

1) I'm more Pepsi than Coke (controversial, I know!)
2) I'm more of an Alison Lohman guy than an Angelina Jolie one.
3) They say that when you write this, you should add something unique? How about the fact that pie-in-the-face humor has followed me around ever since an incident some friends orchestrated at my 19th birthday party many, many years ago. There's a long story there. Ask me and I'll gladly explain.
4) I'm told I don't look my age, which is both a blessing and a curse, but I am always flattered when I am asked for ID.
5) I haven't the foggiest as to what is happening in the world of sports (names of players, stats, who traded who, etc.)
6) I don't play a lot of video games (but I DO have a secret addiction to Rock Band).
7) (And I use these brackets too often).

I'm ultimately looking for someone with similar values who can balance being fun loving and care free with being serious and reserved depending on the time and place, and someone who knows what they want, who they are, and isn't afraid to show it. If you are passionate about your goals, are intelligent, can carry a good conversation, whatever the topic, have a positive outlook on life and a well rounded sense of humor (having the ability to laugh at yourself is also a plus), send a message my way.

Honestly, whether it's having a mini adventure by strolling around the city, or going for a walk somewhere, or having a relaxing dinner, or checking out some live music, or sharing the simplistic delights of a good coffee... I'm pretty much game for a number of things as long as it allows us to get to know one another better.
