I am in a good place in my life, still growing, improving - and I intend to keep doing so.

I'm not am pretty un-materialistic. I don't like to tie my identity to labels, though it's hard to live completely without them, I do manage to live without logos on my clothing or statements shirts, my chest is not advertising space.

However I do have a love of old tech, for example I have a record player, film camera and VHS/dvd player (which I bought new last year). I like vintage clothes from the 30's, 40's and 50's.
I also am what I want - giving, loving, full of compliments.

Not photogenic - I look better fresh not frozen.

I think if you want a girl who's into drama or is in-your-face, or enjoys to argue -- um that's not me. I like good interesting conversation and also peace and tranquility; life brings drama on it's own and one doesn't need to create it. I like to be goofy, funny - making my partner laugh is a pleasure best enjoyed everyday - making each other laugh - even better.

picky-eaters annoy me...
ok ok if you don't like something, sure...I accept that.
BUT not trying something just out of stubbornness, shows an unadventurous side of someone that I don't find attractive.

Music...very eclectic...(but not a fan of acid jazz)

Comedy...british flavored usually - Mighty Boosh silliness too

Well this is more a description of what am looking for rather than a first date....first dates are after all not the be-all-and-end-all.

I am looking for a strong mental connection, where you feel you can talk about any subject, and the conversation flows like a river, from one subject to another; Yes, that, AND attraction, which would lead into lasting love *sigh*. Tall order huh. So what else about this illusive guy? Someone giving, loving, full of compliments - all genuine of course. Playful and adventurous as I am, but also understands I need my alone in the bath times. Commitment-phobes need not apply. Clever and wise, someone who's still learning, living and growing - but mature. Affectionate but not overly romantic but you'll surprise me if you are - that would be something new for me.

I also like cheeky guys, that have that little sparkle of mischief, it could be buried deep but it should be there, as spark, a twinkle, just so I can coax it out.
