Hard to make a description of myself but here I go. I was born in DC, moved to FL in 69 10 days before Christmas and my mom gave me a fishing pole. So I learned to fish, ran around on a little Boston Whaler until I turned 16 and got my license. Wish I had a penny for every time I rode along the FtL strip! LOL Went to SMU in Dallas then returned to SFL after freshman year - I do not like to be cold! Sophomore year was at our local BCC (then BJC). I aspired to become a photo journalist for Nat'l Geographic but didn't believe I could do it so it didn't happen. I now believe in myself there's the difference!
My family moved to Central FL and I remained here. I moved to NC a couple years later for awhile 3.5 yrs or so and had a blast! But the winters were cold so I came back here. I love to be surrounded by lush tropical plants and flowers - who doesn't. Alot of transplants say they miss the seasons, but we truly do have our own here. And my neighborhood could put alot of those up North to shame when it comes to Christmas decorations LOL
I am looking for someone who appreciates the small things along with the bold and the beautiful. I do not consider myself a material girl, but I love to treasure hunt at any flea market, garage sale, estate sale, swap meet or bazaar! I have collected lots of neat books and things over many many years but if I lost it all tomorrow I would survive.
I love a good movie. I tend toward the shootem up bang bang ie "The Departed", "The Boondock Saints" and comedies. I love theosophy and exploring the universe. I love good food and wine. I like my own cooking but love a man that cooks

. I think if I cook you can clean up and vice versa. I am a happy person looking for same. An interest in family is important to me. I am #3 of 7; we are still in NC, VA and NY.
My pet peeves include, bad manners, bad breath, and bad teeth. If your hands are dirty do not expect me to be very receptive. Just wash them OK!
Thanks for reading this; the internet is a great medium but I never thought I would be here seeking a mate..what a world we live in..God bless us everyone!
I would meet you first online, then by phone, then we would decide what we think we would have fun doing - perhaps meet on a weekend, late on a Saturday afternoon, to watch the sunset while we share some good wine and some better conversation!
