New to this form of dating. Want to explain some things:
1. At 6'1", 300lbs am a large man(or is that 2XL). Don't look it nor does it stop me from being active. Always have been athletic & am working on reducing my weight.
UPDATE (Aug/09): Through ALOT of hard work, have managed to drop my weight to 265lbs.
2. I have a 9 yr old son, lives with me full time. He's a great kid and I'm a great dad, maybe not a great mom (got to work on my feminine side!). Many of you ladies may not be interested in someone with a little guy around, given our stage in life. He takes up a bit of my time and I rely on planned spontaneity.
3. Marital status is still separated for the next few months, ex lives in Alberta and is getting re-married, so no baggage here. We have a very amicable relationship(thank God she lives 2000 miles away).

About me:
Somewhat traditional, little old-fashioned, God-centered and always open-minded. You will figure out that I am very loyal, honest & trustworthy. I value family and friends. I can fit in all social settings, from blue collar workers to CEO's and can converse easily on a wide range of topics. Yes, I love sports. All of them, playing and watching. Golf in the summer takes most of my extra time; watching my beloved Canadiens in the winter (I won't hold it against you if you're a Leafs fan). I have coached for a few years also, hockey and my son's soccer teams. Love to cook, been told I'm pretty good and would enjoy making you dinner some night. Finally, I like romance and intimacy...(outside the bedroom,ladies), long walks in Niagara Falls holding hands, kissing for no reason, cuddling on the sofa, sharing popcorn at the movies, making dinner. I have no problems showing affection, nor receiving any either.

About you:
Well not a whole lot different than me. Just read above. Please be honest and truthful and relatively low-maintenance. I can handle a little drama, but...
You should be able to communicate easily, for there is so much to explore. Should be comfortable in your jeans or that little black dress.
Some preferences: You should be romantic, receiving & giving, no smokers please; pets ok, I like them all, someone a little taller 5'6"+(but not a deal breaker).
