Been told I have a smile that would stop wars. But there is so much more to me. I’m deep and eccentric. I’m looking for the man who will love and annoy me the rest of my life. I’m more interested in the depth of your soul than the depth of your pockets; more attracted to the size of your heart, than other body parts. I’m most known for being a singer, a (published) writer, an amateur gourmet and shutterbug, someone who would rather make something than buy it, someone who enjoys the journey more than the vehicle taken for the trip. I believe each person has a personal journey, and challenges divinely designed for them. Having studied for the Cantorate, I love the richness of the ritual and tradition Judaism provides. Btw, I am really only looking to meet Jewish men. I would be happy to hear from you if you are traditionally Jewish. If you are not Jewish, I wish you well in finding your mate. Did I mention I’m a singer? I studied, performed operatic and cantorial music. Lately I have sung with a few jazz bands, which I enjoy. Since my mother’s passing in 1999 due to cancer, my personality has changed and has only added to my appreciation of what is important about life, and how short it is. I have also endured some of my own unusual challenges, which have added more richness to my life, my soul. To that end, I’m what they call an old soul, spiritual, and have developed my gift as an intuitive empath (it will be our secret). Once married, I raised 2 boys, just didn’t have the burden of having to give birth to them. In case you were wondering, I have recently realized that I cannot have children naturally. So, if you’re just looking for a baby machine, perhaps you should move on. But I do love children – and animals - very much and would be only too happy to welcome your children and embrace them with open arms (or adopt). I have a beagle/basset mix and a Russian blue, both of whom I love dearly. I have much love and passion to share, but only with the right person. You are my best friend, an old soul, and you love to laugh. You have the courage of your conviction and are BRAINY! You enjoy life on your terms and are playing for KEEPS. You are the one who appreciates me for all the quirky things that make me special. You are the one whose face will be my redeeming reward at the end of the day (mine would be yours). We share the love of animals, children, family and seeing the beauty around us. You will make me feel sexy and beautiful on my frumpiest day. You will always smell good because you know it drives me CRAZY! You will eat my cooking, cook for me, cook with me. You will play with my silky hair, just because you know I love it. You will understand that I am not your ex wife, but will be there for you when she upsets you. You understand that you are not in my life to change me and I am not here to change you. We accept each other and love each other unconditionally. However, we will continue to grow and understand more about life and each other, taking the journey together. You will understand that while we both love being together, we may want time to do other things separately, and that’s ok. You are willing to share your heart with me and give mine a good home. You know that whether you have had a good day or a bad day, you always love coming home to me because I will make it all good. You will be open and honest when communicating. You know the difference between there, their and they’re; your/you’re, then/than. You will learn to leave the seat down, regardless of what you did with it in the interim. You will keep the bathroom door closed during the first 5 years of our relationship, whether you like it or not. You could be ANYWHERE in this country, so I’m not opposed to something long distance if it leads to united hearts. You will love my cat and dog as much as I do (or at least pretend). Most importantly, before we get married, you will ask my father for my hand (and maybe the rest of me too!).

My last first date. It would and get me off this site. My feeling is that the where or what doesn't matter as much as the right person sitting across from you. Time flies by because we're having such a wonderful time and I don't have another thought in my head that doesn't relate to the conversation or the eyes I'm staring into. The perfect first date would leave me knowing that I can't wait to see this person again. And at the end, he would say, "I have to see you again. Please say yes.
