Ok, ...right now I am just checking this out. I'd like to find an intelligent, classy woman to date, becomes friends with and with the right amount of luck and magic, build a nice relationship. Being relatively new to the Columbus area, I'd find a special someone to explore the city a bit more.

I work out alot, sometimes 6 days a week, and my main "sport" is running (I came close to breaking the 4 minute mile a couple of times years/decades ago). Over the past 5 years, I have been getting better at golf, breaking 90 for the first time ever on a trip to Scotland a couple of years ago. Two or three ski trips is pretty common in each winter. I miss Chicago, especially the dining and night life, but I hope to find some great new spots in Columbus. . . . .

I have some BORING hobbies like working out and learning how to play chess. And my newest hobby is playing Poker, both on-line and with buddies. Recently built myself a monster poker table! I've also been known to spend hours fine-tuning one of my pinball machines to get them working 'just right.' When the weather is good, I like to be outside riding a bike or working in the yard or on my house (it seems I can build or fix almost anything--although sometimes it takes awhile).

I've worked as an executive in the energy industry for the last several years, growing into more of a general management guy. My background is in finance/deal structuring, but my time heading up HR for a Fortune 500 company changed all that.

Ultimately, I'd like to find that special woman who will be so impressive that my family will know why I waited so long to find her! My niece (12) and nephew (10) are my favorite kids to spoil--and they really want me to find this woman soon. Heck, now even my youngest niece (5) is starting to ask! When I meet her, I'll look forward to pursuing a serious relationship that will last a lifetime.
