About Me
Paddling, as in canoeing... thought I had better clarify that!
And by the way, it is not a big deal if you are not interested in BWCAW/Canoe camping, although it would be nice. I know it is not for everyone.
It would be a lot more interesting to have an actual conversation about who we are, so I will keep this somewhat short and if you are interested, we can talk and find out more about each other. For me, as in life, it is a journey of discovery... and the journey is what it is all about.
Let's start with a little about me. I am easy going but with an inner intensity and passion for things that I care about. My core values are centered in honesty, integrity, kindness and compassion and I am drawn to others who share those values. I work hard and I play hard. I am interested in dating, but ultimately hope to find that special person to have a long term (life-long) relationship with. I really don't want to date for the rest of my life!
As for you (which will also say a lot about me)... Are you happy and comfortable with who you are? Are you looking for someone where there is a mutual attraction, to spend some time with, go out on dates, get to know each other and have some fun with? Do you want someone who will understand, support and share in your hopes, dreams and aspirations? Are you seeking to live life moment by moment, enjoying it for what it is... instead of worrying about what it isn't? Are you packed with your own natural juices with no artificial ingredients or preservatives...?!
I think it is important for a couple to have things in common and many things to share and do together, but I also believe that having seperate interests and hobbies and maintaining that space and time for those endeavors is also important and healthy for a relationship.
One thing is for sure... it is certainly more fun to go on a date than spend an evening going through endless profiles!
Take care,
Tim
First Date
This is a description of a date, not a first meeting or "meet & greet"... I think people know fairly quickly if there is interest or a connection there. I like to start with a nice dinner and good conversation... then depending on mutual interests, go take in a show (concert, theatrical performance, sporting event...) or just go and chat somewhere, have a drink or a beer and maybe shoot some pool or whatever. I like being spontaneous, so switching up and doing something different, a spur of the moment kind of thing, is great... and I am always open to suggestions.
