I believe that I'm pretty down to earth and well grounded. Stable, responsible, accountable, all those things that you ladies like to hear. I also believe that you can't take yourself too seriously. You have to be able to look back and laugh, or at least chuckle a bit! I have what has been called a very dry sense of humor, but it works well for me. I'm spontaneous, a bit lysdexic at times, adventurous, and have been told handsome: although I'm far too modest to admit to that. My main goal in life is happiness. What ever that means to you, and whatever that means to me. Everyone has the constitutional right to pursue it, so why not give it a go? Oh yeah, my pics suck, but I do display safe driving habits :)

One more thing, I know I'm not going to match everyone here, frankly don't want to. It took 46 years of unspeakable acts of debauchery and an occasional random act of kindness to get myself into this shape. That being said, if there is something of a mutual physical attraction but you don't like the fact that I smoke, or don't want any more kids, or that I have a 6-pack of ABS (Anheuser Busch Select) in my fridge, lighten up a bit. Doesn't mean we can't get together to laugh, have a couple drinks and genuinely enjoy each other's company. That might be better than scrolling through the "who's online list" and seeing my ugly mug there again...

A perfect first date in my mind would be something so spontaneous that neither of us would even have an opportunity to get nervous. Just show up, relax, and hopefully enjoy each other's company. If we "click" great, if not, we didn't spend a week getting all stressed about it. Of oourse this is just my opinion, I could be wrong...
