Like many women, I am in search of the perfect man... well, at least perfect for me. I don't have many stipulations...just that you be honest, fun & not a jerk (lol). Height & weight fairly proportionate and cute would be nice. Although to be honest, I will be more impressed with a guy with intelligence, a sense of humor and common sense than I will be with a GQ model. I enjoy the usual...dinner, dancing, long walks on the beach, etc. I am an avid reader, gardener and I love animals. I love to cook. Anyone hungry? I am definitely a down to earth kind of gal. I'm from Tennessee. So I do have a southern accent. I prefer jeans & t-shirts to evening gowns. (Although I have those too.) I am as comfortable out in the country as I am in the city. I lived on a farm for 20 years. I am very easy-going and fun. Willing to try new things, but I definitely have opinions and am not shy about saying what I want. In that respect, I am very much a Scorpio. Oh yeah, also of some importance, I usually like to date younger guys (like 30's). I always have. I guess that makes me a cougar! lol

I'm beginning to think that I'm wasting my time on this site. Most guys seem to be using this forum as a booty call opportunity. The few who do show any interest in dating are either married, old enough to be my grandfather or flake out on me. Makes me feel bewildered and a little grumpy. C'mon guys, I've got cookies!

Depending on the guy, a first date can either be excruciatingly horrible or wonderfully exciting. I generally like to talk to a new guy online or by phone for a while until I am comfortable meeting in person. In this day and age, the first date should take place during the day, for coffee or a drink, to just meet and determine if there is an attraction. The second date can be used to talk and learn more about each other. Dinner and a movie, while cliche', is always cool. By now, we should know if there is something there to explore further. I am not only looking for Mr. Right. I'm looking for friends too. Ideas for future dates include: rock concerts, wine-tasting tours, hockey games, sci fi conventions, etc. Any guys who like to dance apply here!
