I love to be in nature, taking in all the sights, sounds and scents of it. Whether it is in a desert, a forest, on a mountain top, or the bottom of the Grand Canyon, I love nature. I love being in the sun, swimming, yoga, writing, reading, crystals, taking long walks, especially on the beach, hiking, rock climbing without ropes, thunderstorms and seeing people happy and joyful.
I don't like people who are narrow minded, who can only see one side of a point of view and are not able to be flexible. Judgemental people are not among those I wish to be around. I prefer liberal, open-minded people, who have the joy of life in them, who aren't afraid to show love, compassion and let that special person in their life know they are cherished and thankful to have them in their life. Wasting time on negativity is not for me.
Taking good care of yourself is important to me. We may be in our 50's and 60's but we don't have to look or act like it. I like a guy with ambitions, not a couch potato. Someone outgoing, fun, interesting, honest and who is confident without having a large ego or being****. I like a guy with good hygiene, who knows how to dress for the occasion, a guy who takes pride in the way he looks and keeps up with the times. I also don't like guys with beards, makes them look older, I guess a mustache is okay but prefer a clean shaven face.

I am not ashamed to say I am looking for my soulmate. If along the way I meet guys who I know aren't my soulmate that's fine, we can be friends, I like having guy friends but my purpose in being on this site is to find love, passion, intamacy, in conversation, in bed and in life. For me life has a void when I have no one to share all that life has to offer with.

Having a comfortable lifestyle is nice but material possessions aren't what is important to me. If I find that one person to love nothing else matters.

Just so you know, I do not have sex until I am in love with a person. Casual sex is not for me so if that's what you have in mind keep going. It takes time to get to know someone on a deeper level and I prefer to wait til then to avoid making a mistake. Just being honest. What I can offer the right guy is myself, my devotion and my love.

I have no preference as to what we would do on a first date. I have found most guys don't like to pay for a dinner on the first date. I guess they don't put out the money til they know they like you. Coffee is fine, dinner, a walk, whatever, just so we both realize it may not go as we want or hope it will and are okay with that. I love meeting new people, it shouldn't be hard.
