Hi, I’m John… I basically get paid to work out with all the lifting I do haha. The job has given me a whole new respect for anyone who is a teacher. It pays the bills for now while I pursue what I really want to do which is be a writer. I enjoy the creative side of things. I enjoy turning ideas into reality.

I just become an uncle, which was pretty exciting since I’m a pretty big kid at heart. Music is also very important to me. I play a few instruments. My favorite genres of music are rock and metal, but I'll listen to pretty much anything. My mp3 is one huge collision of music. I like sports as well… (I’m a guy… shocking huh?) hockey, baseball and football are my favorites to watch. Movies and books are also up there.

I'm hoping to find a woman with a sense of humor and who I can have great conversations and be myself with. Similar interests help as a foundation, but I'm always up for experiencing new things. The company is more important on any dates. You can be at the finest resturaunt and things just arent clicking,making it a bad date. On the other hand, you can be at a local diner, conversation is flowing and theres a connection, making it a great date.
As for first dates, I'm pretty much up for anything. A place like Dave and Busters is always good because there's the chance to talk over dinner, and then a plethora of other activities to do.Something active like ice skating can also be fun. Nothing to break the ice on a first date like taking a bump on the ice.
