About Me
Well, I'm new to Shanghai and I don't know many people. I'd really like to just meet some new people, start some meaningful relationships and find someone who can help expand my horizons. I'm adventurous, spontaneous, love new challenges, will try anything once and love to make people laugh. I hope to make many new friends to share this new chapter of my life with. I am very friendly and love to meet new people, so... introduce yourself :)
Being friends is a must. I've always believed that the foundation of a great relationship is a great friendship. Having said this, I am in no rush to jump into a relationship. Take it slow and we can see where it goes. Haste makes waste and human emotion is a terrible thing to waste.
I should add: I have made some incredible friends so far and I absolutely love my job but still feel as if something is missing at times. I love my life but think that there is more that I can be experiencing. This is an incredible adventure I have embarked on but wish I had someone close to share it with. I don't want someone to devote every second of my life too, but rather someone to laugh with, share with, be vulnerable with and trust. Perhaps I am asking too much, but, I believe I'm worth it.
I think that everyone has been hurt terribly atleast once in their lifetime. I also think that the way in which people deal with this hurt separates them into two distinct categories: 1) They choose to act defensively, ensuring they are never hurt again. This generally leads them to act distant and in a hurtful manner, ensuring they are always the ones causing the pain; 2) They choose to ensure they never hurt anyone in the way they have been hurt. These people try to improve themselves and create meaningful relationships. In this way, they are able to improve the lives of others around them and, hopefully, prevent such harms coming to the people in their lives.
