Okay, so here's the dealio. Sure, my soulmate may be lurking out here on Plenty o Fish but I'm not really banking on that.
While I'm waiting for 'Mrs Right' to fall out of the sky, I think there may be a woman with whom there is a connection on a number of levels with whom it would be nice to have a respectful, honest and fun, drama free, mutually rewarding, non 'tenure track' relationship.
We both recognize we might not be soulmates but appreciate the opportunity to enjoy each other's company so that if Mr or Mrs Right does come along, we don't jump on them and break their backs immediately out of pent up frustration. And if we do turn out to be soulmates, all the better as we'll have practice!
