Ok, for starters, I am putting myself "back on the market". I've been single for a while to focus a little on me. Now, one of my new years resolutions was to get back out there and see what the world has to offer.

At the moment I am just looking for someone who can be my friend first. (and not the kinda friend you call at 3am for some "extra curricular activity") I'm looking for a person that is interested in getting to know who I am and allowing me to get to know him as well (not just the representative that everyone shows people when they first meet, but the person that they really are)

Now a little bit about me...

I'm a fun-loving woman who lives and works (very hard) in the New York Area. I'm a huge music fan of R&B, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Calypso and Neo-Soul. I love all types of movies (my all-time favorites include "Fight Club" and "Dawn of the Dead"). One of my current aspirations is life is to learn to play the guitar, speak Spanish (fluently) and travel to Australia.

What I value most in life is my family and a guy that understands and respects that is important! I'm seeking an honest man between ages 27 and 35 who is taller than me,(no offense to any of ya'll who are 5'6" and under. It's just a preference!), doesn't mind going dancing, and can appreciate a woman who's often been called "Ain't No Ne'er Nutter" (LOL!).

My preference is an affectionate, focused, driven man, someone that knows how to treat a lady, respect her independence, while still maintaining a good sense of humor, who also enjoys lounges and horror movies. (that gives you an automatic 5 cool points!)

It will help if you are someone who understands that change is innevitable and the best way to upgrade yourself is to learn from the past instead of mourning your mistakes!
