Single and looking to make new friends outside my existing friends (who are mostly married). Interested in good times, good conversation, and whatever that leads to. Attractive, funny, and never boring. Interested in everything under the sun from music to politics, traveling to movies...and everything in between.

I love bike riding, reading, yoga, and traveling. I am a board member for an African orphanage (founded by my big sister). I dig kids a lot, and have a 12 year old son, but don't feel any need for more children of my own.

I spent the better part of 5 years living and working in Amsterdam and had the good fortune to travel throughout Europe (France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Belgium, England) and southern India working, snowboarding and generally wandering around taking it all in.

I am bilingual (Spanish), and thoroughly enjoy speaking another tongue, as well as meeting people from other cultures speaking whatever we can manage to communicate in.

I love music, and enjoy a wide variety of different kinds. I love going to live shows, although I've been lame about getting to shows the last few years. My first show as a kid was Rush (total Rush “geek”), and other names you’d recognize include the Dave Matthews band (who I followed around the country one spring/summer) and off the top of my head…Dylan, REM, U2, Pearl Jam, Beck. Less well known…John Prine, Billy Bragg, Bela Fleck, Fema Kuti…..yeah…you could say music is pretty important to me. Share your favorite stuff with me…I’d love to hear it.

I'm not here with a goal in mind per se other than to meet others who are single and looking for good company. I have a great group of friends, many of whom I have know most of my life, but I've come to realize that over time nearly all of those friends have gotten married and settled down and I have very few single friends to hang out with.

Ok, hope I'm unique by now and if not, hope you at least can tell that I'm a good guy, very free spirited who, whether I'm your Mr Right or not, we’ll find some common thread and have a good time talking and laughing about this big ole’ goofy world.
