PROFILE REVIEWS There is a pinned post at the top of the "Profile Reviews" listing of threads. I have a long post on there, about 1/3 of the way down. While this is quite flattering, I NO LONGER DO PROFILE REVIEWS.

OTHER THAN THAT...

MY PERSONALITY
In a nutshell I've got the personality of a friendly psychologist. Save for the fact that my main concern is figuring out what's right about people and good about the world. I tend to do more listening than talking, and I have something to say when I do speak. 'Course, this is when I'm in serious mode. Otherwise I'm full of sarcastic wit, long ridiculous stories, and have a tendency to imitate cartoon-character voices.

INTERESTS
I can find anything interesting if I want to. Feel free to share your hobbies! I work, I go home, I return to work, I return home. Lather-rinse-repeat. Come the weekend I'm down at the local watering hole. Given my druthers I want to get out, especially outdoors. I have a thing for parks. Hike and bike trails make for some nice exploring, and my fav's are the big places, like state parks and such.

I GET ALONG BEST WITH:
A lot of different people. The super-outgoing type seems to appreciate my calm nature. The quiet type enjoy my introspective intellectualism. I can enticingly challenge narcissists, and provide plenty of compliments and reassurance to the self-conscious. Pointless flattery is neither my forte, nor to my liking, though.
NOTE: I tend to question everything, and look for the bigger picture. I don't always get along so well with those who are blindly loyal to "the rules". If you frequently find yourself asking people questions like "what's THAT supposed to mean?" - then I wish you well, and with all due respect my company may not be so well suited to your own.

RED FLAGS?!
SOOO many women's profiles include a list of reoccuring "must-not's"; here's my response to the most common ones:

tired of playing games
When we're having fun and laughing, this is OK. Chess, twister and Soul Caliber are games too, and they're fun. Not that I've played twister since I was a kid, mind you. Being hurtful and manipulative are HEAD games - and my personality is free of anything remotely resembling these. COMMUNICATION is paramount: sometimes people rub off as playing games when we don't mean to - and I'm pretty adept at speaking "Chick".

can't stand a man who lies
Honesty feels GOOD. There are those people with whom I can tell anything and vice versa, and nobody ever wonders if there's anything untrue being said. This is one of the greatest feelings in the world. Honesty is amongst a list of skills which are fundamentals. The reward so far on top of these basics that they have become instinctual. In short, I can be relied on to always tell the truth.

must not have contacted users for intimate encounter
Never have, wouldn't dream of it. Not my intent. I go to sleep happy, because I know that the people I meet are going to wake up the next morning feeling special.
