Kinda hard to go into detailed descriptions on these things, but a few basics: I'm currently diviroced. I have a 14 year old daughter and a 4 year old son who are very important to me. I am also still close with the ex's kids.

I am looking for my best friend. I've been close to that a time or two, so I know it exists. The person I can tell anything to. The person I can do anything with, simply because we enjoy being together. I find it easy to laugh at myself, and even laugh at my own stupid jokes. Brownies points if you actually think they're funny!

I'm a boots and jeans kind of guy, but I'm not afraid to wear shorts when the weather is nice. I do not consider myself a hick or a redneck, but I am a bit country and I do drive a truck. My musical tastes vary quite a bit. I listen to anything from country to rock, 80's pop and metal, classical when the mood strikes, and christian music quite a bit as well. I'm pretty opinionated, and don't usually have a problem giving it whether asked for it or not. :~) I'm pretty laid back and I believe fairly easy to get along with. I enjoy going out from time to time, but I'm just as comfortable relaxing at home, or hanging out with friends. I LOVE baseball. Big football and hockey fan as well. (Rangers, Cowboys, and Stars) Of course there's more to me than this, but we can get into that later.

Just recently started getting back to the gym again. I don't have time to be a gym rat, nor would I want to be, but I still enjoy going when I can. (Ok, so this part has taken a small pause.)

I'd like to meet someone outgoing, but doesn't mind just hanging out watching a movie. I tend to be a bit sarcastic (read smartass), so a good sense of humor would be nice. Someone who is kind, and has a big heart. They say opposites attract, but things seem to go better with someone I have more in common with. These are the things you learn along the way though. I'm not real sure I could put it all down in words here. Faithful is a must. I'm pretty trusting of other people until given a reason not to be.

And yes, I smoke occassionaly. As in when I drink. Not every time, but sometimes, probably most of the time, if I'm drinking beer, I like to smoke. (I think that's one of the most gramatically (is that a word?) jacked up sentences I've ever written.) Not to mean having a beer with dinner... Oh forget it, you know what I mean!

A first date can be anything. A couple of drinks, maybe dinner. Prefer something quiet so we can actually talk. Guess it kinda depends on how much time we've spent talking online and/or on the phone.
