21 Reasons Not to Date Me

1. I am 44. I have been around the block a time or two, and know what I want. I won’t lie about my age. According to the claims of all the serums and lotions I use I should look about 12. Photos are dated and recent.
2. I have red hair and freckles. Call me ginger, crazy, yes the carpet does match the drapes. (Do you know how many times I have heard that line?)
3. I do not use any type of drug other than ibuprofen and occasional spirits socially. I am not nor have I ever been an addict of any kind.
4. I have a brain which I use on a regular basis. Yes there are hiccups but for the most part it gets me through the day safely. I tend to be attracted to men who are intelligent.
5. All parts are real, and in working order some are a bit rusty due to lack of use. What you see is what you get. Size 8.
6. I am a mother to three teenaged boys. They take up an ample part of my time. They are wonderful well adjusted soon to be adults. Not looking to be a mother to anyone over the age of 40.
7. I read books, with and without pictures.
8. I have a career. I love what I do, and work with great people.
9. I love to laugh, most often at myself. I have a dry sense of humor and tend to stick my foot in my mouth on a regular basis.
10. I am a bad Catholic. I go to church maybe twice a year. I tend to believe it is not who you affiliate yourself with, but rather how you live your life. I went to Catholic school for the majority of my younger years, and it added to my warped sense of humor, plus I have some great skirts.
11. I am punctual.
12. I can spell, or at least know how to use SPELL CHECK
13. I have an excellent circle of diverse friends who I like to spend time with.
14. Family is important to me. I have a great relationship with my family. The man I am interested in would too.
15. I am honest to a fault. I prize honesty in people. If you are interested and we start dating I see no reason to continue checking in to POF. Why search if you are testing the waters with this fish?
16. I am not a patient person. After the initial e-mails if there is some sort of chemistry I would want to meet. I lead a very busy life, and do not have time for endless e-mails.
17. I have returned to school to obtain my Masters Degree. Lifetime learning is highly important. I am not a complacent being stagnant.
18. I am not the most organized person in the world, yet I rarely lose things.
19. I work out on a regular basis. Staying healthy is important to me. I could use a new work out partner,
20. I joined Plenty of Fish.
21. I write lists.
