Hmmm... I just moved back to California after living and working out of state(NM) for a year and I am hoping that this site may provide some help with possibly finding a cool person to hang with and possibly "date" =) I am working on transitioning into a new line of work, which means, I'm interviewing for various positions and deciding what I am going to take... I am a college grad, B.A. Political Science, I have some graduate work under my belt, I have taught middle school, and there's much much more to tell... I like nerdy, funny and cute girls, that are nice, (kinda like me). Maybe that's my ultimate downfall, I'm a nice guy. Lot's of people say things like "just looking for a nice guy", well here I am, ask my friends... I have a big group of friends and we hang out on a regular basis so look forward to a new circle of great people... I like to laugh and I am sarcastic from time to time... Looking to meet somebody fun who isn't shallow and cares about the simple things in life like honesty, laughing, art, music, and vacation. I'm a sincere and honest no b.s. kinda guy... It would be great to find a nice person via POF because bars and churches aren't for me.

I like to camp and beach and lay by the pool and I need to get my butt back to the gym. I like to cook and eat, I also like to go out to nice or new restaurants, or just stay home. I appreciate other cultures and what better way to appreciate them then by eating their food? I'll try anything once or twice...

Music is pretty important to me... Mainly punk rock, folk, anything singer songwriter that means something, rock, some metal/alternative, it's pretty diverse...(NoFX, Rise Against, Defiance Ohio, Against Me, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Lagwagon, Social Distortion, Elliott Smith) And all the classics and pop things that everyone else likes[insert bands here] I'm kinda shy about messaging people, not that i don't, but I do like to look, so message me if you're interested in talking, there's always room for more friends in my life, I always take the time to message everyone back =) Happy fishing! I think most people take this as, "how the heck do we transition from weird internet dating site, to phone calls to actually meeting..." Date, already, ?!?!?!?!? not so much! Dinner is never a good call, the very first time you meet somebody, but maybe after meeting casually 5 or 12 times we could actually go on a "date". I'd rather be friends first and make a connection, then just end-up in some terribly awkward dinner-date from hell. I actually have a great story about that, =) If you're nice I might tell you. Dive bar and a game of pool or a quiet drink is always a good place to start.
