Hi,

Thanks for stopping by my profile. I'm never really sure what to write in these silly little boxes. Capturing the essence of someone in a profile box is really a challenging task. I'm a pretty easy going, go with the flow kind of person who has dreams and aspirations that I'm slowly stepping towards. I've got a wonderful job that I'm quite happy with. I have friends and family who love and care for me, but there's always room for more friends. I'm an honest, loyal person. I firmly believe that love and beauty are in the eyes of the beholder. I can be shy and slightly guarded when I first meet someone but I'll usually come around by the end of a good conversation. People have told me that I'm (to borrow from Shrek) like an onion (minus the smell!).

I want to go to school for Tourism and Hospitality Management. I like Music. Music is a beautiful thing that can reach across all barriers and still manage to make people feel emotion. In my car CD player, you'll often find Top 40 music...even though it may not be this week's top 40. I still listen to, and love, Alanis, Chris De Burgh, Linkin Park and many other varieties of artists and genres.

I like seeing different places, getting to know people and just having fun. My friends have got me hooked on some musicals (Rent, Avenue Q, Wicked) and I hope to manage to see them sometime. So far, I've knocked Rent off the list. On TV I like Stargate, Supernatural, Charmed, House, Heroes, Criminal Minds, Farscape, Big Bang Theory and a wide variety of other shows. I don't have cable, but I do love my internet connection for it keeps me in touch with what's on TV when I have time to sit down and watch it.

In a first date, I'd like to get to know someone. I'm not saying a movie would be a bad addition to a date, but just don't make the whole date a trip to the movies. Something without a lot of pressure and something creative and fun would be a great start.
