I like to volunteer to teach adults how to speak English as a second language, tutor school students with their homework, drive meals to homebound seniors, serve meals to the homeless at food pantries and homeless shelters, feed and exercise with seniors at a nursing home, and mentor an underprivileged child.

When I am not volunteering or working I like to have coffee with a friend at a local Starbucks, watch movies or just relax to some music from my stereo, piano, or guitar. I also like to visit the parks like the Morton Arboretum, Great America or Magic Waters. On the weekends, I like to get out to the bars and restaurants in the city or to visit the Field Museum, the Art Institute and the Shedd Aquarium.

I also like to visit new places on vacation like Florida, California, South Dakota. I have also been fortunate enough to have lived in Kentucky, Alabama, Arizona, and Germany.


On a typical Friday night I have to be at work, but occasionally, I go out to a pary or at bar afterwards.

What am I doing with my life? Trying to stay in shape, and learn new things. I work out a few times a week(lifting wieghts and running a few miles). I am also taking classes to improve my skills in business, and computers.

What do I spend alot of time thinking about? Breathing(I really suck at it). Actually, I read a book about meditation, and realized my breathing could be greatly improved.

What am I really good at? I am really good at listening. I usually listen more than I talk, but I can also keep up with a conversation.

A dinner out is a good setting for a first date, but I am open to almost anything(arts, festivals, and sports).
