I'm a 24 year old pseudo intellectual dilettante and electric triangle playing non-conformist. I've lived in Brooklyn my entire life which isn't so great now that its all cool and trendy to be from Brooklyn. No worries though, I'm not a card carrying hipster or anything, though I do like the scene.

Seeing as how I both work and go to school I try to do things that I really love in my free time. This includes going to see live music and friend's bands play, discovering new music (mostly indie lo-fi stuff), trying to keep my mid year resolution to read a book a week, painting abstract art because I don't have any real artistic ability, watching Japanese Horror movies and laughing at the cryptic symbolism, bumming around the Village/Soho/Chelsea area to shop and people watch, going into art galleries and museums pretending to be a cool and trendy art snob, hanging around the apple store to scare the yuppies, going to Yankee and Devil games because I'm a pretty hardcore hockey and baseball fan, visiting all the cute little diners, coffee shops, and tea houses....basically doing all the things that make NYC so great!

Basically I'm looking for someone who is capable of intelligent thought and conversation. Now I know that may not sound like much, but when you think of all the people you've met how many of them can you say actually displayed these qualities? I need someone who has a very strong personality and who has opinions on a variety of topics. I hate doing all the talking and being 'yesed' and 'mmm hmmmed' to death. I like people who are passionate about something, anything! It doesn't matter if I "get it" or not. It's surprising the amount of people who don't like anything particular or who apparently like everything that's ever existed ever in the history of the world.

Kick puppies, microwave kittens, push small children and the elderly into oncoming traffic...or ya know get some dinner or coffee, go see some live music, walk around the city getting to know someone...whichever...
