I would describe myself as funny, cheeky, intelligent, easy going and happy. My friends would say I was loyal, honest, reliable and fun to be around. I have a great passion for life. I have a lot of hobbies and always like to try new things. I love to travel and see the world. I am into motorbikes, scuba diving, shooting, cycling, trying new and different dangerous sports. I want to start sailing and working towards my skippers ticket. I am also heavily into music, all types from jazz, classical to heavy metal and dance, but my favourite would have to be rock. I also play drums in a band which I really enjoy. I also love to dance and love to boogie to all kinds of music. One of my ambitions is to learn the Argentinian Tango as I believe it to be the most beautiful and sexy dance in the world.

I have a great passion for food and cooking. I have worked in restaurants, just to learn new techniques and recipes. I love having friends over for dinner so I can try a new recipe and entertain them. I also love fine wines and eating out at somewhere posh or unusal. I adore the arts, I studied at an Art University and have really soaked up the creative atmosphere. I have kept this passion and totally respect the creative arts. I also like to go to the theatre, galleries and like visiting them in the different cities I have visited on my travels. The Museum of Modern art in New York, the Gaudi buildings in Barcelona and Dali's Museum in La Figueres being particular favourites.

I work as a Watch Manager for the Fire Service and I am in charge of a team of Firefighters. When we have a shout I am the one who sits in the front, bosses them about, pretending I know what I am doing. Its a great job and I am very lucky to do it and really enjoy it. I am also heavily involved in our Union and this keeps me busy as I represent my members locally and Nationally. I find it very rewarding and very interesting and I am a great believer in the Union Movement and what they represent. Its one of the reasons I work in the public sector, as I want to give to the community. Thats enough of me on a soapbox lol!

Now tell me about you?!

I am pretty open about this, if it was my choice, I would like to go for a meal or a drink. It would be good to go to either a country gastro pub or an alfresco restaurant in the City. In the Summer it would be nice to go for a walk in a large park and take a picnic and sit on the grass and get to know each other.
