I love to do outdoor things like kayak, hike and camp; but I still love my sushi, martinis, wine bars, and trips to museum exhibits and plays. I try to get out to the DMA or to the Kimbell at least every month or two.

I enjoy reading on my patio and cooking (my favorite store is Williams Sonoma) as much as going out to try a new restaurant.

If you're a football, basketball, hockey, or Nascar fan - excellent! That's a great chance for me to catch up on my reading.

I like a wide range of music: classic and contemporary rock, blues, a little bit of hip hop, a microscopic bit of C&W etc.

I'm extremely honest because I'm such a terrible liar there's really no point in trying. Besides, it's so much easier to just tell the truth. I have a lot of integrity, but if you're looking for "a good chrstian man," that's not me :) If you're offended by a man opening a door for you or taking your coat, then I'm really not a guy for you either.

A woman who's direct, affectionate, sensual, and has a great sense of humor is the one I want to spend time with.

A first date for me would have to be more of a coffee date (experience talking here.) If we make it to a second date, then I could cook dinner, we could see a movie or play, or we could just go to a wine bar to hang out and share a glass of wine and a plate of calamari.

BTW, first and second dates are much better during the week (or weekends during the day) since the atmosphere is usually much more conducive to good conversation.
