I was widowed 3 years ago after 30 years of marriage. I did not think I would ever love again. Then a few months ago I began to realize that I need to find the true love of a nice romantic lady. I am a polite gentleman, with my own small project management business and a mixed farm north of St. Albert Alberta. I like to stay fit and eat sensibly. I have a romantic affectionate nature and appreciate politeness and coutesy. My special lady should be kind, attractive, affectionate,sensual, and enjoy good conversatrion. I can cook and handle domestic duties well. I have two sons, 19, and 15. The oldest is away studying engineering.

First impressions are important, as is chemistry. The very first acquaintance may be a brief chat over coffee or another beverage, so the lady can become comfortable with me, and escape gracefully if she does not feel an attraction. That is fine.

There seems to be a bit of attraction, and so our first date should be memorable. A yellow rose, the symbol or "Joy' for the lady. It is a joy to spend time with her. She is attractive, but I want to know the inner lady. We both like to dress well on occasion, so we try a nice little restaurant for an pleasnt meal and unrushed conversation. The eye contact is good, hours pass like minutes, as we talk. A casual walk is nice after a meal. She holds my hand, that is nice. We seem very confortable together. Then there are many options for my sweet lady to select. Perhaps dancing, a romantic movie, a concert or live theatre. Afterward,if it is not too late, a little stop for coffee or another beverage. We hold hands as I walk her to the door. before we part, I whisper a sweet love poem in her ear. If she permits, we share a very nice kiss, and she gracefully turns,and goes into her home. My face wears a smile, my heart is warm with hope. She may be the one!
