Although I tend to be quiet and shy...Very shy (it's a curse, believe me!) it doesn't take me long to warm up to someone, I have a quirky sense of humor (I love Monty Python), I'm a history buff, I'm a big Cubs fan, I have a passion for creative writing, I'm a great listener, I don't dance but I have been known to slow dance (less foot work - I can handle that), I consider myself "low maintenance," I'm never afraid to admit when I'm wrong (Yep! I'm the guy that will pull-over and ask for directions), I tend to be old fashioned when it comes to dating (opening a door for her, letting her wear my jacket, etc.) however, if you think yourself independent and don't like to be treated with chivalry, I'm flexible.

I was married for 18 years. I have a daughter who is 15 and a 12 year old son. Both live with their mother in Missouri. In case you're wondering, there's no drama between my ex-wife and myself.
