I own my home and currently have a roommate (keeps the hollow echo of my own footsteps from scaring me at night), a dog who is sweet but talks back when he should be obeying his master (Me the master? He knows the truth. :P), and a cat who's stuck on herself till the tub facet drips then she's all, "Lets lick the drips from my paws and complain with moaning yowls when he turns off the tap."

Other things your likely to find me doing: writing(The Lad fancies himself a poet. And a comedian in mind, as well as a fiction writer(Don't bore me with the truth when it comes to reading)), working digitally on artwork. I have the ideas and talent, just need the time. I also like to read (Clan of the Cave Bear series, has had multiple reads), or just browsing the net.

When listening to music everything from Motorhead and Alice Cooper to Susan Vega and Indigo Girls is on the menu.

I can cook from a can, but love a good restaurant. Love romance and can plan an evening, but need someone to kill the macho exterior (kill it please, kill it now), so those plans can be given life.

I'm looking for a girl that has some(not necessarily all) of the same interests as me. A woman that has passions of her own. I'll help you along your path and need someone willing to help me climb the rocks along my road.

Someone who is happy with herself and the world around her in general. If a person can't be comfortable in their own skin, they won't be happy with what ticks below another’s skin.

A partner who likes animals. This is important to me, as I have a dog and cat and never would want to see them hurt, abused or even ignored. And I'm completely unable to ignore animals around me.

I'd like to find a down to earth girl that prefers the comfort of jeans and T-shirts to more formal dress. Someone who can shower, dress, throw on shoes and be ready to go. Disappearing into the void of a make-up mirror or clothes closet is a big turn off for me.

Finally, I'm looking for a women thats open-minded. I think very untraditionally and explore a lot of avenues, spiritually, mentally and physically. And need a partner who even though she may not agree with or want to explore those avenues with me, can at least accept that I need to know what lies beyond those horizons.
