When people are sometimes asked to describe me, the word genuine is often used. I'm considered a very generous person in all aspects of my life especially in family, friendships and love. I'm smart, articulate, sensitive, and have a playful personality. I'm a hopeless or should I say hopeful romantic who still believes in holding hands,kissing and affection. I like staying active and being fit. Exercising is important to me whether it's doing pilates, playing a rousing game of football in the yard( I've been told I throw a mean spiral "for a girl")a run on the treadmill or just a long walk. I enjoy most sporting events and activities whether playing or watching.Did some jet skiing this summer and had a blast!Tried golfing too... very addicting. My most important aspect in my life is my family. My children are my most cherished treasures and I couldn't be a prouder parent. You'll have to get to know me better before I divulge info. on them. I am one of ten children and having grown up in a large family I've acquired many valuable traits such as patience, compromising, kindness, respect, HUMOR, loyalty and unconditional love.My favorite activity is dancing and you must enjoy it too. You don't have to be Fred Astaire, but when I'm 80 I want to dance in the kitchen with my special someone,like my parents did.I love all genres of music (I even tolerate rap) and my ipod is always near by. I would love to travel more both here in the States and abroad. Weekend getaways are always fun and a great stress-buster.I love Traverse City wine tasting, dining in Chicago, driving through out-of-the-way towns and shopping the small shops, grabbing a burger and a beer (wine),people watching... Dancing,dining out, comedy clubs,dancing,water skiing,tubing,movies,bon fires, boating, dancing and traveling are up there on my list as well.Cooking is something I like to do when it's for someone other than just myself (boring)and entertaining friends/family is a great way to experiment on new recipes... LOL. I love a good joke, a good book and a great movie(though all the better with someone special). I am a positive minded person who looks at life as a gift, I believe that life is about enjoying every day we have here on earth and I intend to be the best person I can be, find humor in most situations,have fun and go out laughing.Oh and did I mention dancing!!!!

Another note...I am not looking for a F.W.B relationship, so if that's what you're looking for that's great for you. I'm a great friend but I prefer a relationship with more substance.



The man I am interested in must be an open, honest, faithful, sincere and a trustworthy person.He needs to be "emotionally mature", be able to accept compliments and be with a woman who knows how to be passionate, affectionate and sensual. He should be confident but not arrogant and have a great and sometimes goofy sense of humor. He should love his family and be willing to accept mine.I want to have a relationship with a man who cares about me as I would him. I believe that every person should pursue their interests, hopes and dreams. Love is about watching a person grow and be happy, and cheering them on along the way. I've learned what doesn't work for me in a relationship and I know what I want from one. "With age comes wisdom" and I'm wise enough to know that life is too short and precious not to share it with someone special. My life is the perfect ice cream sundae, I'm just looking for the cherry on top.

I like the old-fashioned phone calls where you can talk to each other and hear the intonations of our voices. E-mails and Ims are great for quick hellos but can cause some misunderstandings.So if we decide to meet and hit it off, calling is a must!

A first encounter...let's play it by ear, but it must consist of laughter,maybe a glass of red wine and hopefully great conversation.

Now a first "date", well that's a different story... a little more creative thought should go into that one.
