It's difficult to discribe oneself. It's like painting a self portrait with a mirror. And I'm not a painter. Hi, Here's a little about me. I became a widow in August, 2007. I now share my home with four cats that I rescued. I enjoy walking which I usually do on bike paths, rails to trails or just around the neighborhood. I find that it is a great opportuity to enjoy nature and chat at the same time. I joined a hiking group this fall and plan to do more hiking this year. I don't go often enough but I love walking on a beach, hearing the waves and getting my feet wet in the surf. I just love the ocean.
I also stay active by taking ballroom dancing lessons in Hartford. Especially like the Latin dances and swing. I like plays better than movies but any event with the right person is special. I also enjoy quiet activities such as gardening, cooking, be it a bar-be-que or spagetti & a salad, and reading ,ususlly a mystery. I like to try to figure out "who done it" before I get to the end of the book. I have just started taking lessions to learn row a 4 or 8 man sweep shell. Being on the water in a skinny shell propelled by 4 rowers is sometning!
I am really more low key than not and not high maintence. I like the simple life. There is more to me than this little paragraph but this is a mini glimpse into who I am and what I enjoy doing. I hope you find something in me that matches something in you.
