One of my best experiences was when I was in the Arizona desert in the late 1980's and saw Halley's Comet. My whole life I had heard about this comet and it was a thrill to see it. I became an amateur astronomer when I visited Yellowstone in the 1970's. One of my favorite things to do is drive into the country to see the stars. I also like to watch the several annual meteor showers every year. Have you ever seen one and wished upon a star?
