I've tried a few of the online dating sites and really had bad luck, but I'll give this one a try. Outside my job I have many intersts and I believe that's a good thing because I'm never really that bored.
Some intersts include: aquarium fish, music, home improvement, movies-almost all kinds, trying new things, playing old video games from the 80s, cook outs, etc.
I like people who try to get the most out of life and see new oppotunities where others may have ended. Generally I try to stay optimistic, but I'm sometimes told I can be cynical and have a dry sense of humor.

As far as my career goes I'm in business managment however I don't meet many woman through my job. For fun, I'm part of a working band, right now I'm the sound man for the band Razing the Bar. We're pretty much a cover band playing classic rock, 80's, and Pop.

I have two aquariums- one fresh/coldwater and one freshwater tropical.

What I put in my profile in a way is really limited as well as what I might talk about in an email. I won't ask you out in a first email, but I think it's important to talk in person because there's just too much left out of people and most of us really don't want too get too personal... you never know what some people may do once they have something you said in print! Anyway, I don't know how to put this but I'm really not looking to "score," but don't take this the wrong way...I'm not ultra-serious and defiantly would be up for casual dating. Ironic as it may seem I don't meet many women as a part of a band being in and out of clubs- the soundboard just isn't the chick magnet it used to be!
Also, the site has me listed as a non-smoker but I fell off the wagon...it's not bad, just a few a day. I'm mentioning this because I know some people really can't stand the smell of smoke and everything that goes with it.. but I can control myself and don't have to be constantly smoking.

Turns ons: confidence, long hair (but not necessary), aggresiveness

Turn offs: swearing loudly in public

For a first date I'm open to suggestions. The typical movie/dinner thing in my opion is kinda lame and can be awfully tense.
If you like live bands maybe you and some friends can come out and see us. I usually work the soundboard so I'll have time to talk in a casual enviornment. All of the four guys in the band are married, and the two lead vocalists are female, one of which is also married, so there will be plenty of other people around if that's a concern. The clubs we play are usually decent and in good areas. We hardly ever play downtown. If we "hit it off" we can always go out for dinner and a movie; that would be a switch. Or, if you work somewhere and do something, maybe I'll stop in on you and ask you out!
