I'm on PlentyOfFish to meet new people, make new friends, and maybe more if things click. I've been very career oriented most of my life and I haven't met as many people in the DFW area as I would like due to travel. Due to events in my life, mainly watching my father lose his battle with cancer while I was there over a two year period, I was forced to re-evaluate my priorities. I am, and always will be, a hard worker and career minded but I realized that some things needed to change. I have many friends that live outside the area which means I can't go hang out with them on the weekends. So, I am concentrating on building a social life here at home (DFW) and any, and all (sane, rational, and drama-free), are welcome.

A little about me: I am 39 but most people think I'm somewhere between 28 and 33 depending on what I'm wearing (this is a good thing though right?). I enjoy music, cooking, travel, scuba diving , fishing, boating (see the water trend here since I was raised near the Gulf?), and time with friends. I've been in the DFW area for 9 of the last 10 years or so and enjoy it. I have never been married although I have had some great long term relationships that did not pan out. I do not have any children but I do love them and look forward to having some of my own in the future. Anything else just feel free to ask. :-)
