Hi, I'm Adam. I like to think of myself as being an uncomplicated person, but that may or may not be true. I don't really know that I fall into a type per se, but if I had to pick some way to describe myself, I'd have to go with nerd. I love reading and playing games, although I don't seem to play them much these days. I go to school full time for Electrical Engineering, which isn't nearly as bad as it sounds. I do have an unfortunate habit of being sarcastic, but I'm starting to think that's just a side effect of our generation.

I'm going to be straight up when I tell you that I am not a country boy. I've never lived on a farm or bailed hay in my life. I know just enough about cars that I can change my own oil and change a tire. I'm also not the party type either. Tried it in high school, but it got old and I just don't care for it much anymore. I'd say that I drink less than 10 times total throughout the year.

I dress in what some people like to call prep, but I don't really understand that, I just wear what's comfortable to me, which in generally jeans and a t-shirt.

I do lift weights, although I'm not as dedicated to that as I would like to be. I do manage to keep in shape though. I love going swimming, I usually use the university pool a few times a week. I did martial arts for a while, but it's awfully hard to keep going when you move two and a half hours away for school. This doesn't mean that I'm a violent person or anything, I just feel that you should know how to fight if the need arises. I'm also learning a bit about aerial swing dancing and some basic parkour stuff, which I think is amazing.

I honestly think I was born a few generations too late. It bothers me that chivalry is more or less dead, and that most guys like to behave like jerks to get attention. I'd rather not be seen than be seen as a jerk. I do my best to be a gentleman and a scholar. I do occasionally act like I'm full of myself, but don't pay it any mind, it's just one of my ways of expressing some humor, that's all.

I'm just looking for a nice girl to spend time with. If you happen to be a nerdy girl, it's probably points in your favor, but I don't like to discriminate just because you have or don't have a hobby. I'm cool with anyone that clicks. Admittedly, I do have some crazy hopes, but that's just the hopeless romantic in me.
