I am originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Born and raised.

About me:
I like just relaxing with friends and family, drinking some beers while watching a hockey game or talking about current events or just about non-sense. I love playing hockey and working out. I like to travel and have travelled all over the U.S. and a few places in Europe and Asia. I would like to eventually meet a nice girl whom I can settle down with but until then I just want someone to chill and relax with. I like to "kick it old school" as they say. Im not quite sure what this phrase means, but the elementary school I attended was pretty old as was its gymnasium. In said gymnasium I kicked such things as bouncing balls, dodge balls, indoor soccer balls and occasionally a hockey ball when I needed to move it up to my stick or away from the goal keepers net. I have also been known to "kick butt" as well during my elementary school years, of course refering to defeating my opponent(s) or opposing team and not the actual physically act of kicking someone in thier posterior. Since then the school and its gymnasium was taken down and rebuilt. I suppose I would be willing to go back and "kick it new school" if there is such a thing.
I like watching all genre's of movies, Action packed movies, comedies, dramas, documentaries and movies based on real events. (except for horror films....most are done horrendiously and those that are done well i stay away from because i dont like the feeling of fear...spoof movies really arent my thing) My taste in TV shows is the same as my taste in movies. Drama's like House and Lost to science fiction tv shows such as Heroes.
I like listen to music and the type of music i generally listen to all depends on the mood I am in. Some of the bands I listen to most are Seether, 3 days grace, 3 doors down, Nickelback, Metallica, Red Hot chili Peppers and......if you can believe it Joss Stone (an ex introduced me to her music, it fits the moods and upbeat). I dont really listen to rap or hip hop simply because I cant relate. I still to this day havent figured out who let the dogs out and why someone would do such a thing.

I believe everyone should have a plan and know where they are going or headed in life. This means both short and long term plans and if something unexpected comes up, you are better able to adapt and over come it. I strongly dislike it when people say "Lets cross that bridge when we get there"....i know there is a time and place for everything but I dont like leaving things to chance or see what happens. I don't believe in fate. I believe we are in charge of our own destinies. Everyone should take responsibility for thier own successes and failures and not just say "if it was/wasnt meant to be it will/wont". If you want something in life you have to work your butt off to get it, no one will give you a hand out. I live by that motto. You cannot control others but you are in charge of yourself. If you want it, go out and get it.

I LOVE!!!!! the Moto GP and motorcycles in general. If you get me started, I wont stop.

What Im looking for:
Honesty! Being able to trust you completely without any doubt or second guessing is a must. I am an honest person and prefer to be with someone who is the same.
I need to be with someone that can hold a decent conversation. I would like to meet a woman whom I can engage in intellectual conversation and debate or discuss topics like foreign issues, politics, global issues, and anything under the sun. If you like talking then please do message me :)
I value independence and self confidence. Its a very attractive quality in my eyes.
There has to be some physical attraction but I value personality and character above all else. As they say, looks may win over the eyes, but personality captures the heart.
A woman with an understanding of Canada's involvement overseas is prefered. Although you may be for or against our reasoning being there but can still appreciate and can understand my line of work and the type of work I do. Having said this you must know that I am going over seas in about half a year for half a year.

I would want to go to dinner at a quite place so I could talk and get to know my date better. After maybe go for some dessert or a movie, or anything that is relaxing.
