About Me
I am so surprised at how many fun, active single people are out here. I enjoy meeting people, sometimes making friends but ALWAYS LEARNING. No matter how old I get I will never lose my inner child, my way of looking at the world wide-eyed and excited by everything there is to do and see and know. I am pretty much of a girly-girl but I also like the elements. Being out under the stars, by a big bonfire or walking through the woods, sailing or strolling on a beach. I am as comfortable interacting with large groups as one-on-one conversations. I find talking (and listening) about most subjects very entertaining. Music is my passion, especially classic rock and blues, but I also love the sound track from the musical Chicago, Judy Garland classics, as well as anything by Nora Jones, Leonard Cohen or Bonnie Raitt. I like ethnic foods- cooking as much as dining out. Asian, Mediteranean and Italian are favorites. I lived on the beach in California for 20 years and I miss the sounds of the waves crashing, the sun setting and fresh sushi. I would not have any problem returning to the West Coast to live. I tend to live a pretty health conscious life style without being fanatic. Resuming creative outlets is one of my goals. Painting, dancing, geology, music, exploring the past and other cultures, travel, sculpting, writing a book; the list is endless. I want to learn and grow and experience. Life is an adventure and I don't have a "set in stone" plan. Loyalty, trust and friendship are words I live by and take very seriously. I am not looking to make dating a career or to "go steady". Making friends along the way is a wonderful benefit but I am seeking my final love and marriage. Above all, honesty, then laughter, affection, sensuality, a sense of adventure and a close spiritual bond are most important. I know the best is yet to come and I want someone who feels the same way. To keep moving forward, to make a difference and to leave things and people better than I found them are part of my personal belief system. Life is glorious and deserves passion.
