About Me
I am a semi-retired house painter and restoration specialist. I was weaned as a painter on Victorian homes in San Francisco, starting back in 1980, after closing the door to my art/antique store in the City. I lived in SF from 1976-'86, then moved down to Laguna Beach where I painted for the following ten years before moving to Kitsap County in '96. I still paint custom homes with contractor friends from Kingston and Indianola. I attended art schools on the East coast. I was in a comedy rock and roll band called 'Lobotomy' in Philadelphia, PA., back in the Stone Age..nudge nudge(-:...We put out an album on Paramount Records in 1972, that was produced by jazz icon Teo Macero and was very well-received in Italy....The vinyl was reportedly used for pizza serving platters....When my knees were co-operating with the rest of me, I was a jogger/runner in my daze in San Francisco, and ran the Annual Bay to Breakers Fun Run three years in a row with a great group of friends,,,,I played tennis when the racquets were beautifully laminated wood and the balls were white(-: I care for my family and have good friends. I enjoy many activities including playing my drums, learning guitar chords, listening to music, drawing, reading, doing photography, writing, ping-pong, throwing horseshoes, bowling, playing card games like poker or bridge, tossing darts, shooting pool, hiking, sailing (used to crew with friends in the '80's while racing Nordic folk boats on the San Francisco Bay, and I am great ballast), car camping, cutting firewood, shooting hoops in the driveway, throwing frisbees, playing disc golf, chipping wiffle golf balls into the glade, working on art projects, which include designing T-shirts and painting custom signs, watching movies, cooking here in the hacienda, having BBQ's with friends and family, giving and receiving massages, playing tourist in Seattle, taking in the Pike Place Market, browsing through antique stores, book stores, curio and second-hand shops, flea markets, going to Mariners games, seeing live music concerts at either outdoor events or venues like the Triple Door and Jazz Alley, and enjoying the wonderful life we have in the great Pacific Northwest, one day at a time. With all these incredible activities to choose from, I am basically a homebody, and have many projects going at once. I like working and playing outside and inside, and can be very laid-back, too...I reside in a cozy cottage on three acres of partially wooded property. There are three separate cabins that share the land. We have a multitude of visiting forest critters including deer, raccoons, squirrels, and various birds. My calico kitty cat, Chloe, has me well-trained and possesses her own unique Cattitude =(+)!(+)= Meow meow ciao ciao...I have never smoked tobacco, and stopped drinking alcohol over 11 years ago,,,
