Christmas on the Island was busy but fantabulous. Other than the damn Christmas tree stand, everything went smoothly, for the most part. I did things that I had definitely not signed up for, but the eight pounds of mussels more than made up for it.
Christmas is coming, only two more sleeps!!! The presents are bought, some need to be wrapped when what's-his-face goes out this afternoon. The house has been Christmas-ized. Hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps anyone? Or perhaps some apple juice simmered with nutmeg and cinnamon with spiced rum? Both good combinations. Try it.

I watched the Montreal Canadiens 100 Years of Hockey Celebration. Daddy would have loved it. It was....well....neat, cool, sharp.
