where do we start..

Hi i'm wes
i'm recently 30, and hopeless at writing this stuff....
i'm a nice guy with a razor sharp wit and a cheeky SOH, happy to speak up in most situations, i'm very open minded with a calm laid back character, i'm a good listener which makes me very easy to talk to.

i'd better put something useful in here too...
i like most types of music from classical to full on metal.
i like most film genre, either at the cinema or on my plasma, recently watched 'seven pounds' which was brilliant, but think 'pursuit of happiness' was better. also love the classics, schindlers list/shawshank etc
i enjoy playing pool (used to play county)squash, badminton, bowling....
but my fav thing to do is spend time with my 2 girls! (ages 5 + 8 live with mummy)

What am i looking for?
don't really know, i'd like someone to spend some quality time with please, going out, doing things normal people do, i'm not really into the whole 'club' scene so never find myself in situations where i'm likely to meet potential partners (hence being on here instead) i do like the Qbar but i go for the pool tables rather than drunkards.

I don't have a particular type of person in mind, ideally i'd prefer someone who's reasonably intelligent and can hold a decent conversation, i believe everyone has qualitys that make them attractive but not everyone can see it.
so my question is.. can you?

Somewhere we can talk i guess? do the whole get to know you a bit first? just a quick coffee to see if we click without any pressure is better than a planned meeting with someone you might not like...
