I am a romantic at heart--and I enjoy treating friends well. Sharing life's experiences is fun. Learning new things is what excites me most. The world is a fascinating collage of people and customs...cultures, natural beauty, and constructed beauty. Travel--both domestic and international--is a great way to see things, interact with others, and learn. Conversation with people usually brings about some sort of common concerns and interests. Music (from classical to show tunes to easy listening) sets a mood and energizes when things need doing and calms when "up-tight." I like reading, sightseeing, shows, dancing, and talking.

The City is always fun--shows, museums, quiet walks in the park, and sightseeing make for an enjoyable time as does dining with friends. I am at ease in casual settings and also in formal settings. I enjoy making people feel special as well as sharing experiences and points of view.

My hope is to see more of the world, sharing experiences with someone who would like to share experiences with me.

A first date should be a mutually agreed upon activity during which there can be comfortable interaction and some "getting to know you" time. A casual activity would provide a basis for conversation. A walk in the park, a special exhibit, music at the Sea Port would give us something to talk about. Drinks or a snack would keep us at ease.
