I am a caring, witty, intelligent, (did I mention caring?) guy. I enjoy going out to interesting places just as much as I do quiet nights in with a movie. I have a desire to travel all over the place, but of course I don't get to do so nearly as much as I'd like. I LOVE Chicago, its culture, history, and architecture. My ass might be in Vernon Hills, but my heart belongs to Chicago. I'm a pretty "liberal" minded person, so die hard Right Wingers might want to pass me by.

What I hope to find in a partner is someone who shares the general mix of adventure and intimacy that I desire. Above all, I just want to enjoy a mutual level of friendship and communication that works for both of us. The chemistry starts with us being intellectual equals, and everything else will grow from there.

Hobbies include brewing beer, enoying good food, generally enjoying my surroundings, discovering new music, hanging at the beach, doing activities with my Siberian Husky :)

I just completed a 3 month course in professional brewing sciences and aspire to open my own brewery some day. It's a long, scary road but I think I'll get down it somehow.

I've found that a little getting-to-know-you scuba diving makes for a great date. On can learn much about another person through the bubbles. Although if you like a more traditional first meet, a "coffee date" or a great restaurant where good food, good times, and good conversations are served also works for me.

Seriously, any instance where we can just worry about getting to know each other and have fun, and now worry so much about what the other person is thinking is the right way to go. Open ended? Yes, but so are relationships. :)
