I am a very kind person with a very good sense of humor. I am easy going, enjoy holding hands and showing affection. I am a very talkative guy who likes to make people laugh, sometimes at my own expense. I will always try to make a good impression and please other people. I believe in opening doors for my mate, letting her order her food first, and I enjoy surprising her with a gift when she doesn't expect one. I enjoy watching and going to baseball and football games. I also am a big movie buff and love rock and roll music. I am very close to my family and my friends, who I have grown up with and still see regularly. I am in a fantasy baseball league with a few of my friends. I have been on my current job for over 15 years and I love it. I work with the public and I enjoy talking to anyone about anything. Most women that I meet on my job are surprised when I tell them my age. They usually guess me to be in my lower to mid 40's. One girl thought I was 26!! Maybe she was drunk, I don't know but I didn't care. LOL!!!

One last comment, I have been on this site for almost a year and I have met some very nice women but I have not met 'the one'. I have also had some women stand me up and some have cancelled our date at the very last minute. All I ask is that if you want to meet, be sincere about it. I am flattered that you took the time to read my essay and I hope you send me an email and if you do I will make sure that I reply.

On my first date, being able to have plenty of conversation is important, which is why, even though I love going to the movies, that would not be a good first date because you cannot talk and get to know each other. Going out to dinner would be great way to start out and then maybe go to a sporting event, a concert, a comedy club, or any place that we could be entertained.
