I am a very laid back person with a bent sense of humor. I usually don't talk about myself but here is a little about me. I have spent the past 8 years as a field archaeologist and got really burned out on living out of a suitcase. It was alot of fun and very interesting at times, but not for me anymore. I am currently in grad school for Ad Design/Graphic Design and don't have much time for meeting new people. I hope to work for an ad agency when I am finished and eventually get into film/set design or have my own business. I am a creative person, who seeks being around other creatives.

I am a drummer, so I love music. Listening and playing. I am very much into movies and film. I enjoy Stanley Kubrick, David Lynch, Wes Anderson, Darren Aronofsky, Christopher Nolan films, to name a few. I like the darker stuff. I enjoy reading Chuck Palahniuk, Craig Clevenger, Will Baer, and Cormac McCarthy, and some Neo-Noir books.

I drink coffee, I smoke some, but I try to stay in shape. I like to work out and cycle. I built a single speed bike last year that is loads of fun. I like to go camping and backpacking. I grew up in the sticks so I love 4 wheelers, outdoors, etc. Oh yeah. Food. I love food. Ethnic food, southern food, I love Pho.

I like to go out when I can. I like goth, punk, etc. even though I'm neither, I just find people interesting. Also, I am into vintage Sesame Street, being a product of the 70's, I can't help it!

My musical taste is all over the place, but right now this is what I am into. The Clash, The Flaming Lips, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Frank Zappa, Fugazi, Tortoise, The Sea and Cake, Johnny Cash, A Tribe Called Quest. . .this will change later.

Maybe meet up for coffee first. Then if there is a next time, go with a traditional route, by going out to dinner, but to a small restaurant, maybe one recommended by friends. This way the pressure isn't on and we have some room to get comfortable with each other and be ourselves. After dinner we could go to an art opening or check out some live music and go from there.
