Alright, I have the toughest time writing these “about me” sections so here goes.

I enjoy going out with friends every now and then to have a few drinks and just talk about everyday life and how we take things as they come. I’ve never been into the whole “must get drunk” every weekend bit; I do go downtown the odd time; I mean it’s so odd that I don’t even remember the last time I went downtown to get drunk. Getting drunk every weekend never appealed to me.

I’m into sports. I have such a hard time watching sports on television as it’s not the same as actually being here; despite that, I don’t mind watching games on television. I somewhat follow football. I have a hard time sitting down and watching a game, as I don’t mind watching it with a group of friends. My favourite sport of all-time is baseball; I’m a big Tigers fan. Hockey follows in at a close second; my favourite teams are the Red Wings and the Spitfires.

I’m a kind and caring person who is very mature and confident in myself. I’m the kind of person who would rather joke around more often then not, but do know how to take on the serious moments when they come at me. I know how to balance my social life and my family life well. Right now, my main priority is helping my mom with my handicapped brother and helping with outside household chores in exchange to keep a roof over my head. I love animals dearly, as cats being my favourite animal of all time. I have a cat of my own that is like a kid to me, so to speak. She’s my little girl.

My main goal right now is to find at least a part time job with more hours than what I have now in this crappy economy. My other “main” goal right now is to finish obtaining my license; looking back I was too immature at 16 to get my license and I was struggling to figure myself out. Another goal of mine is to get out of the Drama Town we call Windsor and move to Southern California once the economy picks up again.

Music, it plays such a huge roll in my life. It’s gotten me through some tough times over the years. I enjoy listening to the “easy-listening” music from the 70s to present day such as Fleetwood Mac, Journey, The Dream Academy, Cyndi Lauper, Wilson Phillips, David Cook, Adam Lambert and Kris Allen to name a few. In the end, country music will always be by far my favourite genre, no matter what.

If you’re reading this then you’re not completely bored from reading the rest of my profile as I’ll continue on to what I’m looking for. I’m looking for someone to start off as friends with, and see where things go from there. I’m in no rush to hurry things up, as there has to be a genuine connection between us before we jump into anything.

When we initially meet, obviously should be in a public place, a place where we both feel comfortable. On a first date, something away from the whole "dinner and a movie" bit. I don’t mind the dinner and movie scenario, but just not as a first date. The whole idea of a first date is to get to know the other person better. Now that the weather is getting warmer, dinner and a walk down by the river is always good, or dinner and a few drinks at one of the bars while playing pool is always good, too. Or even something totally spontaneous is good, as well.
