NOTE: reactivated after a few months respite . . . will ponder an edit to the following at some point but for now I am whom I am and the words hopefully reflect who that is accurately.

I guess if nothing else I would add 'words' do hold meaning to me, whether spoken to me or written and certainly when I read yours here. I trust they are an accurate depiction of who you are and what are seeking.

Even after all these attempts or years of 'dating' site profile writing I still find it difficult. However, truthfully and complete we try to describe who we are and whom we are seeking, the proof will always be in the connection. Beginning online with emails and chats, into phone conversations and then god forbid an actual live interactive meeting.

You really never know until you can look the other person in the eye and feel their smile. Or their grimace, which ever the case might be.

I think you will find me as intelligent, witty with more of dry, sarcastic sense of humor. Generally a kind, caring, sensitive, considerate guy who also has a few quirks or unique views of the world around us.

I am a spiritual person, not necessarily a routine religious person.

Activity wise, tend to be more low key. Not much for winter sports and am not a 'speed' person per se, do not own a bike nor have any interest with acquiring one either. If you are in leathers riding down Hwy 61 every weekend, I will wave at you from my car. Golf when time and resources allow.

Enjoy art fairs, art crawls and summer fests ....mostly for people watching ...but also to to be enlightened and entertained. State Fair over the Ren Fest

Try to make at least a couple of the Summer Jazz fest events or similar outdoor music events. Our area offers so many once spring/summer arrives.

I put 'friends' . . . we need to start somewhere right? I am not opposed to settling down, or becoming involved on a long-term basis with the right person. But I do believe, immediately projecting long term is not wise until you are short term with someone ...

Depends on how long we have been emailing/chatting . . . if not very long then a cup of coffee or adult beverage. Good weather . . walk in the park. Otherwise a real first date, could be going to an art fair or music fest, or dinner out somewhere. . . the important aspect would be opportunity to not only talk but observe the other persons' interaction with others and yourself.
