I'm a very flexible guy. There are not many activities I don't enjoy, conversation, politics, theater, movies, eating out, staying home, hiking, playing cards or other games, etc. It's nice to be alone sometimes, BUT I really miss not eating a meal with a female companion. I am the quintessential "jack of all trades and interests", but not fanatic about any. After one has done an activity for a while, it's time to move on (life is too short to dwell on anything obsessively). This philosophy applies to music. My cd collection is as eclectic as one can imagine: classic to country, opera to rock, folk to ethnic.

A first date should be lunch or dinner, where we can enjoy the food, look across the table at each other and converse. If that turns out to be mutually pleasing, subsequent meetings will follow naturally.
