Work dominates the week almost completely for me, so the weekend is time to show myself that I'm more than the sum total of my responsibilities.

Sometimes, that means taking all weekend to lounge around. I enjoy reading about places to visit, ways to do new adventures and places to explore. Ever since I taught myself to juggle by reading a book, I'm convinced that you can teach yourself almost anything if you put your mind to it.

Some of the places I'd like to explore would be the Olympic Peninsula, the northern cascades (Ghost Town of Monte Cristo), central and coastal Oregon and British Columbia. I'd also like to start visiting more abroad both here (New York, DC, Florida Keys) and there (Machu Picchu, Japan, New Zealand and Europe). If you've been to any of these places, I'll supply the dinner and the attention if you've got the pictures and the stories.

Passion is big with me (I put it up there with air) and love to feel inspired. Hiking up to foggy mountain trails, skinny dipping in remote hot springs, mountain biking down a trail or kayaking among the house boats in Portage Bay. I love to plan adventures, do adventures and then sift through the photos afterwards. (I have a few adventures around the country, stories and pictures also for those interested.)

Sometimes exploring is driving into Seattle to try some new bar, nightclub or restaurant I've never been to, but my friends and I always have a laugh and a good time.

Bottom line is I believe in taking some time to relax and chill, but sometimes you simply have to get out there and remind yourself you're really alive by trying something new or exploring somewhere you've never been.

Looking for someone I can talk with, communication is a must and there has to be a genuine connection. Looking for that spark. Without that, I wouldn't mind meeting some new friends to share the adventures and the time.

First rule of a first date...no pressure and as casual as possible.

Maybe a slow walk on Alki if the weather's agreeable or sharing a lunch at Denny's if it's not. Mostly I'd like to start slow with the option of something else later if it's going well.
