I'm really easy-going and a bit of a nerd. I've always thought of myself as shy but I seem to be doing a pretty good job of hiding it lately, to the point where it might no longer be good description of me.

I'm a vegan who likes to cook, and I even bake once in a while. I like reading (fiction and non), art even if I don't usually get the more abstract stuff, I love science, politics, and probably six other things I'm forgetting. I've done a lot of traveling and have touched a few continents, but I always go to the more interesting places (read cheaper), rather than France and Italy like everyone else. Once I pretended to like learning languages, too.

Right now I'm in my second year at university studying math. I love being a student again and went back to school after many years off when I discovered a hidden passion for science. I moved out here a couple of years ago for school from BC.

Just to fit in, I'll claim to like extreme outdoor activities like everyone else on here such as bear baiting and crocodile wrestling. Actually, I don't like camping much (and this seems to be a sin), but I do like hiking and being outdoors. If the forest ever gets wireless, I'll try out camping again.

Some fun facts about me:
-I’m an innie and think outties look weird.
-I don’t like acronyms that are chosen only because they spell out clever little words related to the group’s purpose.
-I don’t use hair conditioner and sometimes wonder if other guys do, but I don’t ask in case it’s a gay question.
-Raspberries are my favourite berry because it’s challenging to properly say rasp-berry.
