I'll try to skip the common cliches, of course I like to have fun, laugh, walks on the beach, romantic dinners, traveling, etc., who doesn't?
I think that the purpose of a first date is mainly to see if we share good chemistry, have things in common, find each other attractive, etc, so since I am interested in getting to know you better, I'd have to say let's do something low key, but fun and interesting. It could be the simplest thing, such as staying home playing a board game, watching a movie, or just going for a long walk in a park, as long as we share the right chemistry, I'm sure we'll have fun.

On the other hand these are also some of the things that I enjoy: Going to concerts, dancing, clubbing, movies (comedy/foreign/indie) comedy shows, midnight picnics, the beach, coffee shops, etc., but I'm always interested in discovering new hang outs, hobbies, foods, so I'd be interested to try anything you might suggest as well.
