Hi, my name is Ken.

How do I set myself apart from the crowd? Interesting and difficult question. I am, like most, seeking what we all seek, a partner in crime, a confidant, a friend, a lover, a supporter, and defender.

I have many interests, and I am always seeking new experiences, that will broaden my horizons or teach me, or improve me.

I like many have seen my share of ups and downs, and have learned what needed to be learned as I went. My baggage is properly stored, and now the only baggage I need or want comes in black or blue and has zippers.

My preference in relaxation is a walk, or sitting by a fire, cooking or a good movie. Reading is good too, but hard to share. There are many many others from fall fairs to live theatre.

I prefer to entertain at home rather than going out, but a night of dancing or a movie or other social events are nice too.

You are in a similar stage in your life where sharing with someone special is how you would like to be, rather than need to be.

I am a single parent, of older children, so that must be a consideration. They are 19 and 24, and are very self sufficient and very seldom home much anymore between school and work. This is still home though. ;o)

We are all so busy shopping in the supermarket of dating that we are spoiled for choice. We get caught up in the pretty labels, the flashy names, the over the top packaging that we don't read the ingredients.

STOP!!!!!!! Read the ingredients. That small can at the back of the shelf may have everything you need and no hidden preservatives that can harm you in the longrun. I am no blue light special . But I am a product that is steadfast , quality, all natural , maybe an acquired taste ,some may say a delicacy, but once you have had the courage to try can become very addictive. You may need to weed through the mass merchandising campaigns to get to me but I am worth the hunt............HEHE..

My own thoughts on stuff like glasses, soul mates etc as seen in other profiles ;o)

Whats with this glass half full stuff- who cares how full the damn glass is - if the contents were any good, the glass would be empty and we'd be lookin for more of the same, lol, rotf, lmao ;o)

Soul mate - whats that - isnt that for after I die? Gimmie hot, intense, can't do without her, wanna lust for her every day, for the next thirty or so years, till I die - that will make this life worth livin large ;o) Our souls can play on the other side when its time.

Head games - is that like that old Mayan ball game where the winner lost his head and it was placed on centre field for all to praise his family for having raised such a great player? or are you just tired of bein a nine? ;o)

Liars - now this one I really love - even the Big Guy lied and so have you!!

Players - heaven forbid they really have it for you from your profile and pix and are just plain ol tryin too hard.......remember that love at first sight so many of us seek....or ..is it you just dont like cards, board games, slots, 649, casinos ;o)

Games - you got too old to have fun, or you hate to lose, or your just not adventurous and wont play, "hide the piece of scotch tape" or "poke r" or "eanie meanie" with me? Sometimes losing has the best rewards.... ;o) Wheres that nude twister board???

Where are all the good ones - well even with all our flaws, and yours too, we are all perfect and good for someone, just not everyone. It takes your good to balance their not so good and vice versa. My fave saying is "we are all angels with but just one wing and we can not truly fly untill we totally embrace someone"

Cats - I have two of the little furry critters - does that make me a Cat Lady tooo lolololo or do the hundred or so guppies counterbalance that affliction?

Favorites lists - I use them because often I am at work surfin on a break or lunch and dont have time to do other than make sure I can find you later so I can digest your profile properly with the intensity and thoroughness it deserves! Yes I read them all the way through - several times, to be sure I caught all of your nuanaces and meaning ;o)

A first date - Someplace quiet, where we can both feel comfortable with each other where we can talk openly and laugh and learn about each other would be good. Suggestions in our first mails and mutual decisions are less pressure for both, and much more enjoyable.
