I needed to update and adjust my profile, since it's gotten rather stale and out of date.

I am a Pensacola native and lifetime resident. I am currently a graphic design student at Pensacola Junior College, and have always been into art and music. I am an avid hard rock and heavy metal fan, although I love all kinds of music. I love to go to concerts and go out to sing karaoke with my friends.

I am caring, affectionate, and loyal, and very laid back. I am a recovering introvert, lol! I'm still a quiet observer type, but I've gotten a little more outgoing in the last several years. I am a large-sized guy, or BHM (big handsome man) as we are sometimes called. I have been losing weight since last October, and intend on continuing my weight loss.

I'm basically looking for a girl with similar interests, who is easy going and drama-free. I'm not looking for perfection; I'm looking for perfect for me! I'm also interested in making new friends, especially if you are into hard rock and metal or are a karaoke singer.

A first date doesn't have to be a big production. I'd rather do the fine dining, candlelight and champagne thing later on once I know there is a connection. With a first date, more casual, laid back settings are better. The key to a good first date is provide ample opportunities to get to know your date better.

One good first date I went on once was just a trip out to the mall to hang out. All we did was talk and window shop. It appealed to that residual teenager in me, and in my date that night. You can really learn a lot about someone just by window shopping in the mall with them.

Another place I would take someone to on a first date is to one of my karaoke haunts. The places I go are pretty laid back and confortable, and the music is never too loud for conversation. We would enjoy a few drinks. I don't drink much, so my date would be welcome to indulge a little bit, if she wishes. I would never push anyone to sing if they don't wish to, but it would be fun if she sings, also. I can sing a lot of stuff at karaoke, and will take requests. I would also take opportunities to serinade my date and dance with her. I'm not a great dancer, but I do my best. I'm always willing to slow dance and was even taught rudimentary two step.
